Segura will be exhibiting at RBTE for the first time in 2016, introducing visitors to stand 1015 to its innovative supply chain transparency software.

Designed to help businesses to understand, monitor and control their supply chain, the system enables retailers to mitigate risk and save money. Customers can use Segura to map even the most complex supply networks and oversee all orders placed, ensuring that they know exactly who is supplying what, when and where.

Segura offers a phased approach, so businesses can view as much detail as they need for every component and each supplier. For some this may simply involve checking who is providing each item, whereas for others, tracking right up to fulfilment maybe required.

The software has been taken up by a number of UK high-street retailers, with around 2,000 factories and 18,000 individual users already registered on the Segura system.

Peter Needle, CEO and co-founder of Segura commented: “RBTE offers us a great opportunity to meet with industry professionals and introduce them to our system. We’re already working with a number of high-street retailers and we’re confident that Segura can support many more in reasserting control over their supply chains. We’re looking forward to demonstrating that to visitors at the show.”

The technology will be of particular interest to companies affected by the introduction of the Modern Slavery Act, which requires all businesses of a certain size to publish statements detailing the steps they have taken to prevent modern slavery within their supply networks. With Segura, retailers will be able to stop unapproved and potentially unethical parties from entering the supply chain, thereby ensuring its integrity.

RBTE attendees will be able to see demonstrations of the software on stand 1015 and find out more from Segura’s expert team.
