Segura are very proud to have sponsored the CSR Award for the second year running.
People Tree, a pioneer in ethical and sustainable fashion triumphed at the Drapers Awards on 30th November when they took home the CSR Award sponsored by Segura. Accredited by the WFTO, the Fairtrade Foundation and the Soil Association, People Tree are dedicated to knowing where their garments are made.
They have 3 main missions:
- to be 100% Fairtrade throughout their fashion supply chain
- to support producers in the developing world
- to protect the environment
Amongst the winners were Joules and Missguided, each of whom won two awards. Joules for Retail Business of the Year (£101m-£500m turnover) and Mainstream Brand of the Year, and Missguided for Best Fashion Marketing Campaign and Best Store Design for shops under 2,000 sq m.
Former editor of Vogue Alexandra Shulman was recognised for her Outstanding Contribution to Fashion at the awards hosted by comedian Russell Kane. The award for Lifetime Achievement award was presented to Matchesfashion founders Tom and Ruth Chapman.
